Based in central southern regions of China, Hunan Hongwang is the first high-grade electrical steel project of Hongwang Group. With the establishment of a long-term strategic partnership with Upstream suppliers, the entire factory is designed and constructed under the standards of the Light: house, following the low-carbon and green principles to carry out high-quality and high-performance products fit to the needs of customers.

Together with other projects, we strive to build an intelligent industrial park of electrical steel and non-metallic materials in central Hunan and form an industrial cluster of technological research and development, intensive processing, trade and logistics, inspection and testing. Hunan Hongwang will be increasingly focused on offering value-added products and service that radiate the central region.

The project put into operation in December 2022, fulfilling the production capacity of 180,000 tons of high-grade NOES and 100,000 tons of HiB GOES. Phase Il is planned to achieve another 180,000 tons of high-grade NOES and 200,000 tons of HiB GOES in June 2023, forming a total capar 360,000 tons of high grade NOES and 300,000 tons of HiB GOES.

General Concept

Electrical steel can be divided into two categories: Grain Oriented Electrical Steel (GOES) and Non-Oriented Electrical Steel (NOES). GOES is produced by special controlled process, so that the [100] axis of centered cubic lattice is parallel to the rolling direction, and the (110) plane is parallel to the rolling surface, therefore forms the GOSS structure. NOES is basically a chaotic structure. Therefore, it is mainly used to manufacture motors that require isotropy in working state, while GOES is mainly used to manufacture transformers that require anisotropy in static state. Electrical steel is one of the most important raw indispensable material for national modernization, high-quality development and has become an essential in people's lives.

Main Purpose

• Large motors (thermal power, hydro power, nuclear power, wind power, etc.), highly efficient motors (small and medium-size motors, IE3 and  up), new energy vehicle motors, variable frequency air conditioning compressor motors,  variable frequency refrigerator compressor motors, small household appliances and micro motors
