Take you to understand the mirror stainless steel pipe
Time:2023-09-27 Source: Hits:347

Mirror stainless steel pipe refers to the surface of the pipe for various processes to grind, so that it becomes shiny. Decorative pipe requires the appearance to have a nice brightness. Regarding the surface grade classification of mirror stainless steel pipes, there are usually three grades of 6K, 8K and 10K. The "K" here is used to quantify the mirror effect standard. 6K indicates the ordinary mirror effect, 8K indicates the fine polished mirror effect, and 10K is the advanced mirror effect that is more finely ground. Of course, different grades correspond to different processing methods, so the price will be different. Does the final diameter affect the mirror effect? Generally speaking, the larger the diameter, the better the surface quality.

And the thickness of the pipe can also make a difference. Although there is little difference in thickness under the same caliber, if the pipe is thicker, the surface effect will be relatively poor. So if you want to achieve the same effect, you may need more processing steps, so the cost of the pipe will also increase. So the price will be relatively high.

As for the mirror polishing process, it can be divided into rough throwing, semi-fine throwing and fine throwing. In fact, it is very similar to the grade classification of 6K, 8K and 10K, but the name is different. As for whether the ordinary decorative tube can reach the mirror, the answer is, of course, yes. It is generally polished with a wool wheel, and then combined with the big green wax to imitate the polishing process, you can achieve 6K, 8K or even 10K mirror effect. Finally wipe the surface with a clean cotton cloth, so that it reflects the shiny effect. Therefore, when using stainless steel pipes, especially for decoration, please choose the appropriate mirror standard according to the specific use scenario. For our general use, the 6K mirror effect is enough.
