The main raw material of PPR pipe is random copolymer polypropylene, which is non-toxic and tasteless, and will not pollute water sources. The PPR tube is connected by hot-melt, and its pressure-bearing capacity is average. It has one of the biggest advantages of being cheap (of course, the price polarization is also very serious, the price of poor quality is low, and the price of good quality is very high). But there are disadvantages, that is, "no light", otherwise moss will grow in the tube over time, and if the water is still for a long time, bacteria will also grow. If the water quality is not good, the internal scale will form after a long time of use, which will increase the pipe resistance and affect the water flow.

Many people think that stainless steel water pipes are expensive, but this is actually a misunderstanding. Since the production scale of stainless steel water pipes has increased in recent years, the price of stainless steel water pipes has naturally become cheaper. Even the pipes, fittings, and manual calculations are basically the same price as the slightly higher-grade ppr pipes. And if your house is not going to be refurbished every ten years, another big advantage of installing stainless steel pipes is that it eliminates the cost of later maintenance, and the cost during the entire life cycle is very affordable.
FOUR: Easy to install
At present, the stainless steel water pipes in the home improvement field generally adopt a double-clamp connection method, so many people are worried about water leakage. This is completely unnecessary. The dual compression technology has been used abroad for more than 20 years, and it is already a very mature stainless steel pipe connection technology. The biggest feature of the double clamping connection is its easy installation. With the help of special clamping pliers, it is easy for people with no installation experience.
