South African Miners Rush to Transport Metals
Time:2021-01-26 Source:Wuxi Hongwang Hits:253

Affected by the new corona virus epidemic, transnet plans to stop railway transportation for 10 days from January 16, which has caused South African chromium and manganese ore producers to scramble for trucks recently. It is understood that in the past two weeks, the Lebombo border in South Africa has been seriously blocked, resulting in a delay in the shipment of chromium ore to Mozambique.

Sources pointed out that this situation will make the supply of goods vehicles in short supply and stimulate freight costs. In contrast, the recent rise in manganese ore prices has given miners the spare power to bear higher transportation costs.
