Stainless steel No.1 plate surface

Processing type: hot rolling, annealing, descaling
State characteristics: rough, dull
Processing method: After hot rolling to the specified thickness, then annealing and descaling. Usually used in industrial applications, heat-resistant, corrosion-resistant, and applications that do not require high surface smoothness.

Stainless steel 2D plate surface

Processing type: cold rolling, heat treatment, pickling or dephosphorization
State characteristics: uniform surface, matt
Processing method: heat treatment and pickling after cold rolling. The matt surface is produced by pickling or dephosphorization. It can be leveled with a matt roller. The rough surface processing facilitates the retention of lubricant on the surface of the round steel during deep drawing. This surface is suitable for processing deep-drawn fasteners, but these parts need to be polished after they are formed.

Stainless steel 2B plate surface

Processing type: cold rolling, heat treatment, pickling or dephosphorization, bright processing
State features: smoother and straighter than 2D surface
Processing method: On the basis of 2D surface, the steel after heat treatment and dephosphorization is flattened with a small amount of pressure. It is the most commonly used surface processing and can be used for any purpose except for deep drawing of complex fasteners.

Stainless steel BA plate surface

Processing type: cold rolling, bright annealing
State features: smooth, shiny, reflective
Processing method: bright annealing in a controlled atmosphere furnace after cold rolling. A mixed atmosphere of hydrogen or nitrogen is usually used to prevent oxidation in the annealing process, and it is also a common surface processing for subsequent reprocessing.

Stainless steel 3# plate surface

Processing type: brush or matte polishing on one or both sides
State features: non-directional texture, non-reflective
Processing method: The buyer can specify the grade or surface roughness of the polishing belt. Due to the difference in the grade or surface roughness of the polishing belt, the state of the surface is different. This kind of surface is suitable for the occasions where the extended product needs further processing. If the product made of steel or steel plate is not processed or polished, it is recommended to use the No. 4 surface.

Stainless steel 4# plate surface

Processing type: general polishing on one or both sides
State features: non-directional texture, reflective
Processing method: After rough grinding, use grinding paste with a particle size of 120-150# or finer for fine grinding. This material is widely used in food equipment, kitchen equipment, and store facade connection fasteners.

Stainless steel 6# plate surface

Processing type: single-sided or double-sided matt forging surface polishing, Tampico grinding
State features: matte, non-directional texture
Processing method: The surface reflectance is worse than that of the No. 4 surface. It is made by brushing the steel processed with the No. 4 surface in a medium-grain grinding paste and oil medium. It is suitable for construction and decoration fasteners that do not require gloss. The grinding granularity can be specified by the buyer.

Stainless steel 7# plate surface

Processing type: high gloss surface processing
State characteristics: smooth, high reflectivity
Processing method: It is made by grinding an excellent base surface, but the surface wear marks cannot be eliminated. This surface is mainly suitable for fasteners for exterior decoration of buildings that require high gloss.

Stainless steel 8# plate surface (8K surface)

Processing type: mirror processing
State features: non-directional texture, high reflectivity, clear image
Processing method: The surface is polished with gradually refined abrasives and polished with very fine steel shots. Does not leave any scratches on the surface. This product is used for mirror or template connection.

Stainless steel TR plate surface

Processing type: cold work hardening treatment
State characteristics: change according to the material and the amount of cold work
Processing method: Carry out sufficient cold work hardening treatment on the annealed dephosphorized or bright annealed steel to greatly improve the strength level.

Stainless steel HL plate surface (brushed surface, hairline surface)

Processing type: cold rolling, pickling, leveling, grinding
State characteristics: continuous abrasive grain
Processing method: Polish with an abrasive material of appropriate granularity to make the surface a continuous abrasive pattern.
