On 26 March, Hunan Hongwang New Material Technology Co., Ltd. held the "Xiangzhong Silicon Treasure Hongwang Smart Manufacturing" project commissioning ceremony and customer exchange meeting.

The project was signed in September 2021 and started construction in December. It is planned to build 15 units including a 20-high reversing rolling mill and an 18-high six-continuous rolling mill. The overall planned annual production capacity is 960,000 tons. The project unit integrates a variety of processes, adopts clean energy and industry-leading environmental protection technology, and will become a modern "unmanned factory" and a garden-style "garden factory" with a high degree of intelligence.

Hongwang will remain committed to the manufacturing industry, focusing on stainless steel, silicon steel rolling, and supporting processing industries. Silicon steel is known as the "pearl in the crown" of the steel industry. Under the background of the national "dual carbon" strategy, as the first oriented silicon steel and high-grade non-oriented silicon steel project of Hongwang's strategic layout, it has gathered various internal and external superior resources and backbone forces, followed the low-carbon and green principles, and upheld the "artisan spirit" of excellence, has first built a silicon steel intelligent manufacturing model factory.
